Born and raised in the culturally rich landscape of Guam, I dedicated two decades of my life to serving in the United States Coast Guard. I also spent a decade in the bustling Bay Area before making Hawaii my home, a place that resonates with my island roots.

My 20-year journey in the Coast Guard was an odyssey of dedication, discipline, and duty. It ingrained in me the values of integrity, teamwork, and service. These principles continue to define my approach to every endeavor.

Family is the heartbeat of my life. My wife Tinamarie Kepo'o Cura and I share a partnership built on love and shared adventures, with two sons Noah and Ezra who are a constant source of joy and inspiration. They remind me of the importance of creating a home wherever life takes us. Our boys keep us busy with driving them to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and wrestling practice or tournaments. I find solace and excitement in the waves while standup paddle (SUP) surfing, explore the rugged trails on my mountain bike in the mountainous hills Oahu has to offer, chase adventure through motocross in Kahuku, and discover tranquility on the golf course. These passions remind me of the diverse opportunities life offers.
